I have had 2 stylists that have ever made me feel great about my haircut. She does great work and is very enjoyable in conversation!! It has gotten to the point where I am paying more to have a simple haircut then my wife to have her hair "processed". Of course she only goes a handful of times a year and manages her hair well but I like to go more frequently and keep my hair under control. I know some men go as often as weekly to keep it looking sharp. Maybe this has something to do with keeping it much shorter. Anyway, are there any promotions that can be done or loyalty cards or something to keep the price more manageable? I would guess with my limited demands, due to minimal hair, I am paying over $2/minute. Making $120/hr. And no perks for frequent flyers. Hoping changes can be made.

I checked in online with a 15 min wait time and the suggested arrival time I show up at that time and it then says I have an hour wait. There were only 2 stylists working on people, a third came from the back and waited at the register for 10 mins before calling the next person. What is up with that?

I have been pretty pleased with Sports Clips Mankato for about 2 years, until yesterday at 4:40pm. My wife checked the online check-in just after 4 pm and it stated they were not excepting anymore online check-ins, but walk-ins are still available. The website also states that you are open until 5pm on Saturday. So my wife and 4 boys showed up to get haircuts, after driving 25 miles, only to get told they were not accepting any more customers. No one was waiting, 2 customers were in the chairs getting cuts, and a couple of stylists were chatting and not doing anything. When my wife questioned why, the person at the counter got pretty snotty with her and reiterated that they were not taking anymore customers today. This is unacceptable in my book. If you are not going to accept anymore customers at 4:40, then change the hours on the website and the building, also turn off the open sign!!! I will be thinking twice before we ever come back to this location again. Management needs to have a long discussion about proper work ethic.
